Monday and Tuesday 11 PM - 7 AM

Starting Pay is $21.23 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available

Candidate is Required to be 21+ Years Old and Must Have 2+ Years of Previous Healthcare/Medical Experience

As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication, responsive customer service, and timely reporting. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and timely notification of clinical staff, management, and/or public responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, corridors, waiting rooms, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing visitor flow, and directing individuals to appropriate departments and/or check-in locations.
  • Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns that may impact operations, documenting findings and communicating information through the chain of command.
  • Operate monitoring systems as assigned, such as cameras, alarms, and communications equipment, and initiate notifications and response actions per site procedures.
  • Assist with patient and visitor wayfinding, including providing directions, responding to routine questions, and supporting service recovery expectations for a hospital environment.
  • Complete detailed shift reports, incident reports, and activity logs with accurate times, locations, and actions taken.
  • Support medical staff with non-clinical assistance as directed, such as controlled escorts for visitors, contractors, and/or staff to designated areas.
  • Maintain a professional presence and follow infection control and privacy expectations, including awareness of protected health information during patrols and interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • - Be at least 21 years of age.
  • - Have at least 2 years' service in a healthcare or medical‐related field.
  • - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • - A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
