Security Officer Access Control Operations Job in Boynton Beach, Florida

As a Security Officer Access Control Operations in Boynton Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a residential community, you will manage entry points, verify visitor and resident access, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence. You will use technology to document activity, communicate clearly with residents and guests, and help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, document entries and departures, and follow established visitor-management procedures.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
