You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, communicate concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of telecommunications facilities, office areas, parking areas, and the site perimeter.
- Monitor access points and report unauthorized activity, suspicious behavior, property damage, and/or equipment concerns according to established procedures.
- Document patrol activity and incidents through clear, accurate reports and promptly communicate concerns to designated personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
