Security Officer Access Control Representative

You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, visitor processing, and/or entry and exit monitoring at a food and beverage location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Monitor access points, gates, doors, and/or screening areas to help support authorized entry, document activity, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and/or receiving and shipping zones, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Assist with security-related reporting, logs, and pass-down communication related to visitors, deliveries, contractors, and/or employee access activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
