As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems to document activity. 3. Technical Proficiency
Candidates must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using computers or tablets, specifically in the following areas:
- Email Communication: Ability to compose, send, and manage emails effectively.
- Software Applications: Familiarity with common software applications used in the workplace, including but not limited to [list relevant software].
4. Customer Service Experience
Candidates are encouraged to have prior customer service experience, which is essential for roles that involve direct interaction with clients or customers. This experience should include:
- Effective Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written form.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Experience in addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor and control access to brewery facilities, including verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vendor entry, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
- Observe incoming and outgoing deliveries, report unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to production, storage, and administrative areas.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or access-control concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
