As a Security Officer Access Control Operations in Breinigsville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help support a secure environment by managing access points, monitoring entry activity, responding to alarm-related concerns, and assisting employees and visitors with professionalism. Your visible presence and strong communication help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $19.47 / Hour
- Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Familiarity with managing access control systems and issuing badges to ensure secure entry.
- Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Proficiency in monitoring and responding to alarm systems, ensuring a swift and effective response to any incidents.
- Customer Service Experience (B219): Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients and visitors.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor, employee, and vendor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, and perimeter, with attention to restricted-access locations and telecommunications or technology equipment areas.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a positive workplace environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
