The Security Professional Flex Officer will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, Education, Finance and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site protocols, helping to support orderly operations within the location.
- Assist with de-escalation, directions, and general assistance for patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining awareness of security-related conditions and reporting issues promptly.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Must be able to work in or around a hospital morgue.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in accordance with site protocols.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
