Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Facility in Brockton MA

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 730 AM - 7 PM and Saturday 8 AM - 5 PM

Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience

As a Security Guard - in Brockton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned transportation locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will carry out routine patrols while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This armed post requires a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through teamwork, reliability, and a caring, people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a transportation environment, providing customer service while maintaining a professional presence.
• Perform armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items from entering the location.
• Communicate and collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Document and report security-related activities, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal guidelines.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while conducting patrols and during all assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
