As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in fostering a secure environment within a financial institution location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols across assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter potential security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Document incidents and observations in detailed reports as required by the site-specific policies.
• Assist in managing crowd control and/or directing foot traffic within the location as needed.
• Remain alert and observant throughout the shift to help to deter potential security-related threats or breaches.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
