Security Guard Patrol Response Associate

As a Security Guard Patrol Response Associate in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, station areas, entrances, corridors, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unattended items, and/or potential policy violations.
- Monitor access points, observe public areas, and report maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or prohibited activity in accordance with site protocols.
- Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and support ongoing security-related operations as directed by site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
