As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a prominent retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a positive environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.
• Work closely with location staff and visitors to offer assistance and address inquiries in a professional manner.
• Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings while performing patrols and other assigned duties within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
