Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver - Financial Company Job in Brooklyn, New York

As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to use strong communication and technology skills while contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access control points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing individuals as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify designated site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
