Security Professional - Government Site Patrol Full-Time

As a Security Professional - Government Site Patrol Full-Time in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct unarmed patrols throughout assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols will play a key role in providing peace of mind for all on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support site operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related matters to the appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment within the government facility.
• Follow all directions from site supervisors and adhere to established protocols for the assigned location.
• Document security-related incidents and maintain accurate records as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
