Security Professional - Mall Customer Service Patrol

As a Security Professional - Mall Customer Service Patrol in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer, you will patrol retail locations, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to customers and staff. You will conduct regular patrols, monitor access points, and offer outstanding customer service, contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure atmosphere for customers and staff.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual circumstances in the location to appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and other security-related tasks as assigned by Allied Universal or site management.
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs and reports of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badging systems is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
