Security Officer Badge Patrol

As a Security Officer Badge Patrol in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery traffic, helping to deter unauthorized access and unusual activity at the location.
- Support loss prevention and operational awareness efforts by documenting security-related incidents, noting damaged property and/or open access points, and communicating concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A current guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
