Security Officer Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail and mall location where you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, offering variety throughout your day while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or tenants by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic public areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, assist with crowd flow, and/or support loss prevention awareness.
- Communicate with store personnel, property management, and/or emergency responders as needed regarding suspicious activity, customer assistance needs, and other security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
