Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol

As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol in Burbank, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role offers the chance to provide strong customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing information with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter access points, helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor assigned areas for policy violations, maintenance issues, unsecured doors, and/or other conditions that could require attention, and report observations through proper channels.
- Support access control, crowd management, and customer assistance functions during normal business hours, peak shopping periods, and/or special events as directed by site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
