As a Security Officer Patrol Detail in South Burlington, VT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points, with attention to security-related conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as required by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized persons from restricted or sensitive areas.
- Support day-to-day operations at a financial institution location by observing lobby, office, and public-facing areas, assisting visitors, and communicating professionally with staff and guests.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
