- Provide customer service to visitors, members, and staff by carrying out site-specific policies, managing front desk activity, and supporting security-related procedures when appropriate.
- Monitor access to the location by greeting entrants, verifying credentials and/or visitor information, and documenting arrivals, departures, and deliveries.
- Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and support a professional front desk presence that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive activity.
- Complete required logs, reports, and other documentation related to front desk operations, visitor management, and security-related incidents.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have X-Ray screening experience preferred.
- Have a state, county, or city issued security-related license preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
