As a Security Professional - Correctional Facility - Screener in Bushnell, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Corrections, and more.

As a Screener in a corrections environment, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and orderly location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting screenings of individuals and belongings, and reporting any security-related concerns promptly. You will remain visible to help deter unwanted incidents and provide clear communication to all individuals entering the facility. This position involves interacting with a diverse range of people, requiring strong customer service skills and professionalism at all times. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter prohibited items from being brought into the facility.
• Monitor entry and exit points in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document and report any unusual activity or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with staff and visitors to maintain a secure environment within the corrections location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
