As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver in Butlerville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents through visible patrols and interactions. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, as you monitor designated areas and respond to situations as needed. You will provide outstanding customer service, support access control, and uphold Allied Universal's values of integrity and teamwork, all while creating a welcoming and secure environment for everyone on site.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide high-quality customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing conflict resolution skills.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the building and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas at the government location to help to deter unauthorized access or unusual behavior.
  • Document and report all incidents, hazards, and suspicious activities according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with property management and law enforcement as needed, supporting a secure environment through visible presence and prompt communication.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times while performing assigned duties at the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
  • Must have one or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
