As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial setting, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, managing badge access, and responding to alarm panels. Your presence on site will support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will utilize computer or tablet systems, interact with individuals in a professional manner, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials of individuals entering or leaving the location to help maintain a secure environment.
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Document and report any irregularities, security-related issues, or unusual occurrences according to company and client protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, assisting with evacuation procedures and coordinating with emergency services as needed.
• Communicate professionally with onsite personnel, management, and/or emergency responders to relay relevant information regarding incidents or access control matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
