Security Officer Armed Patrol Clearance Required

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Clearance Required in CAMDEN, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while making a meaningful impact each day.

Obtain and retain a secret clearance
Pay Rate: $21.12 / Hour

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-related location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unusual activity, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations in accordance with site post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Support site preparedness by following escalation procedures, assisting with emergency situations, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
