As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating concerns through the chain of command and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points by verifying identification, directing visitors to designated check-in areas, and helping to maintain visitor and/or contractor logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Perform unarmed screening and/or observation at entrances, lobbies, and controlled areas as required by post orders, reporting irregularities promptly.
• Control the movement of vehicles and pedestrians by following established entry and exit procedures, checking credentials as applicable, and directing traffic during peak periods and/or special events.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other security-related systems as assigned, and communicate suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed written reports, incident reports, and activity logs, including accurate descriptions of events, times, and actions taken.
• Support emergency and/or abnormal situation response by assisting with evacuations, accountability procedures, and coordination with onsite personnel and public responders when directed.
• Maintain a professional presence, provide clear directions and assistance to employees and visitors, and communicate respectfully while enforcing site rules and post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
