This unarmed driving post combines mobile patrol with strong customer service, communication, and teamwork to support daily operations. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels and documenting security-related events.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and potential hazards.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help follow established site policies for restricted areas, deliveries, and contractor access.
- Complete routine reports and logs, communicate observations with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support security-related operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
