Security Officer - Lobby Desk

As a Security Officer Lobby Desk in Carmel, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional financial institution location where you will serve as the first point of contact at the front desk, welcoming visitors, monitoring access, and supporting security-related procedures with professionalism and care. In this people-first role, you will use communication, attention to detail, and integrity to help create a positive experience while working as part of a reliable and innovative team.

- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk protocols within a financial institution location.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify visitor access credentials, and/or direct guests in accordance with security-related policies and post instructions.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
- Support access control functions by documenting arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or visitor interactions with accuracy and professionalism.
- Communicate with staff, visitors, and/or emergency responders regarding security-related concerns, policy questions, and front desk activity as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
