As a Patrol Armed Officer at a healthcare location, you will actively monitor and patrol the premises, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond in a calm, problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations that may arise at the location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and protect property, assets, and individuals within the healthcare setting.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken according to established procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and the enforcement of site-specific rules and regulations.
• Provide support and assistance during emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fire alarms, or evacuation procedures, as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, visitors, and local authorities as needed to address incidents and maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
