Security Officer Full Time Patrol Representative

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Representative in Carrollton, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In a role shaped by teamwork, integrity, and a caring culture, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant activity and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and credential checks in support of site access protocols for a professional business environment.
- Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance issues, policy concerns, and/or suspicious activity observed during patrols and routine post duties.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
