Security Officer - Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer - Patrol Specialist in Carthage, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas in a dynamic food and beverage location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while engaging with personnel and visitors to provide outstanding customer service and communication. Routine patrols and attentive observation will support a secure environment, and you will represent Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues during patrols.
• Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entry and exit points, and verifying authorization of personnel and visitors.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents, concerns, or requests.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals to designated areas and providing information to first responders.
• Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and vendors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
