Security Officer - Armed Patrol Industrial

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Industrial in Centennial, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to those on site. In this armed position, you will be part of a caring, agile, and reliable team that values innovation, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards while providing customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations on the manufacturing and industrial premises in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
• Monitor access points and screen individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter the introduction of prohibited items and/or unauthorized persons.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with company and client protocols.
• Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Remain alert while on duty to observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards throughout the facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or have a college degree.
• Have one or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
