As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through proper site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including operational areas, access points, and perimeter zones, while remaining aware of changing conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access when required, and help to deter unauthorized persons and/or prohibited items from entering restricted areas.
- Document daily activities, unusual events, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
