What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or mobile patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, common areas, and/or restricted spaces for authorized access, assist with visitor direction, and support security-related procedures related to deliveries, after-hours activity, and sensitive locations.
- Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant updates with site personnel, first responders, and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
