As a Security Guard Armed CPO Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming, professional environment. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPO certification is required.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
