Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a leading financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with local law enforcement and/or site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including the building interior, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential risks according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Support cash handling and other sensitive operational areas through visible presence, attention to detail, and prompt reporting of security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
