As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Security in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in accordance with site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter, while maintaining awareness of unusual activity.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to deter unauthorized access and security-related concerns.
- Maintain required firearms qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and client requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least four years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
