As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Credentialing in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service. Your professional presence and clear communication will help support a secure environment for tenants, guests, and staff. What You'll Do:
- Provide professional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor passes as directed, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating arrival information to appropriate personnel.
- Answer and route incoming calls, provide general site information, and support reception activities in a courteous, professional manner.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and access issues according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols and notifying appropriate contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
