Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Job in Charlotte, North Carolina

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence for employees, visitors, and customers. You will manage access, monitor the lobby area, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide professional customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk of a financial institution by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
- Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and/or contractor logs.
- Assist with directing guests to appropriate offices or services while maintaining awareness of lobby activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Communicate observations, access concerns, and security-related incidents promptly to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
