As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol College Degree in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and stakeholders while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of financial institution facilities, including interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete required reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs accurately and in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
