Security Officer Overnight Patrol Operations Full Time

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations Full Time in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas while verifying access practices, assisting with visitor directions, and supporting daily property operations through visible presence and attentive service.
- Observe and report hazards, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity, completing required reports and sharing updates with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Knowledge of CPR and First Aid is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
