Security Officer Patrol Alarm Response

As a Security Officer Patrol Alarm Response in Charlotte, NC at Amazon Warehouse, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will support daily operations through routine patrols and strong awareness while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, a caring culture that puts people first, and teamwork grounded in integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a dynamic technology location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior work areas, common spaces, loading areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and communicate with employees, visitors, and vendors regarding site policies and security-related procedures.
- Support daily operations by observing the location for potential hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations, then escalating concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
