As a Security Officer Patrol Reporting in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. You will support access-related activity, respond to site needs, and use teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach to create a professional and welcoming presence for Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities for a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter policy violations, assist with directions and/or general questions, and report unusual activity.
- Support daily operations by completing required reports, maintaining a visible presence, and following Allied Universal standards for unarmed patrol posts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
