Security Officer Screening Coordinator

As a Security Officer Screening Coordinator in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, screen people and property, and support smooth daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this fast-paced role, you will help promote a secure, welcoming environment while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen individuals, visitors, and/or deliveries entering designated areas, following post orders and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted operational areas.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting security-related concerns, operational hazards, and/or irregular conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Supervisory experience is required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
