Security Officer Healthcare Patrol

As a Security Officer Healthcare Patrol in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and strong communication. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, helping to manage access control activities and directing patients, visitors, and staff according to site protocols.
- Support a professional environment by assisting with de-escalation, providing directions, and communicating clearly with healthcare personnel during routine operations and/or urgent situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be able to comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
- Be able to work in a hospital environment that may include a morgue.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting when required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
