As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Nottingham, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will patrol a retail and mall location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail property.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
- Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, property damage, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence and courteous interactions with the public.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with at least 1 year of driving experience required
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
