Security Officer - Financial Front Desk

As a Security Officer - Financial Front Desk Specialist in Cherry Hill, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will play a crucial role in welcoming guests, verifying identification, and managing access control to help maintain a secure and professional environment. Your presence at the front desk helps to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or clients at the front desk of a financial institution location, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying credentials and maintaining a visitor log, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures to support security-related operations at the front desk.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Assist in emergency response activities according to established protocols.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or local authorities as needed to report observations or incidents.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and offering directions or support as needed at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid guard card or security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
