As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Detail in CHERRY HILL, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely response to security-related needs. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a pharmaceutical healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
- Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by reporting hazards, equipment issues, and unusual conditions to appropriate site personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
