Security Officer - Hospital Grounds Patrol

As a Security Officer - Hospital Grounds Patrol in CHERRY HILL, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a healthcare location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with staff and visitors, and provide excellent customer service, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or conditions, documenting findings as required by site policy.
• Assist clients, visitors, and/or staff with directions, information, and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence.
• Collaborate with healthcare facility staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and post orders related to the healthcare environment, adapting to changing needs as directed by supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
