As a Security Officer Front Desk Officer in Cherry Hill, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, visitor management practices, and Allied Universal standards for a campus location.
- Monitor building access, greet students, staff, faculty, and visitors, and assist with check-in, identification review, and directions in accordance with post instructions.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate communication channels.
- Support security-related operations by maintaining awareness of lobby activity, documenting daily events, and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
- Assist with front desk administrative duties related to security-related functions, including answering phones, managing visitor logs, issuing access credentials, and reporting maintenance and/or access concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
