Security Officer Armed Patrol Response

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working with integrity and teamwork to put people first.

- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and/or vehicle movement in accordance with site policies.
- Support daily operations by preparing reports, reporting maintenance or hazard-related observations, and assisting with security-related inquiries from employees, visitors, and/or contractors.
Minimum Requirements:
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
