As a Security Officer Dispatch Radio Operations in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor incoming calls and activity, and dispatch support as needed. You will help maintain awareness of site operations, support access control processes, and provide professional customer service to tenants, visitors, and team members. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor security-related systems, alarms, cameras, access control activity, and incoming communications from a dispatch center; document and relay relevant information to appropriate personnel.
- Coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, dispatching personnel as needed.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, shift communications, and records of calls, alarms, and dispatch actions.
- Support security-related operations throughout a commercial real estate location by communicating with on-site personnel and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
